What is noopept?

Noopept is a nootropic compound that was first discovered in Russia. It has shown to be 1000 times more potent than Piracetam, the most popular of the racetam family. On a structural basis, Noopept is a dipeptide conjugate of Piracetam. According to Wikipedia, Noopept has many other names such as Ноопепт; GVS-111, N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester.
