What is hordenine hcl?
Hordenine, as described in Wikipedia, is a natural alkaloid of the phenethylamine found in many plants, and mostly commonly in barley. Chemically, hordenine is the N-methyl derivative of N-methyltyramine, and the N,N-dimethyl derivative of the well-known biogenic amine tyramine, from which it is biosynthetically derived and with which it shares some pharmacological properties. while hordenine is best known as a central nervous stimulant that assists in weight loss in sports nutriton supplements.

What is the differences between hordenine and hordenine HCL?

There is little difference in application and stability between these two products. The HCL form is more water soluble and more easily absorbed by the body due to its acidic character; thus making it more expensive. In addition, the CAS number of hordenine hcl is 6027-23-2 while CAS number for hordenine is 3595-05-9. Chemically speaking, they are two different products although their propertities are similar. If for hordenine alone, we call it hordenine base.

How does hordenine hcl work?
Hordenine HCl is its ability to inhibit the activity of Monoamine Oxidase B (MAO-B). MAO-B is an enzyme located in the mitochondrial outer membrane. It catalyzes the oxidative deamination of biogenic and xenobiotic amines and plays an important role in the metabolism of neuroactive and vasoactive amines in the central nervous system and peripheral tissues. This enzyme preferentially degrades benzylamine and phenylethylamine. Like MAO-A, MAO-B also degrades dopamine. Usually this degradation function of MAO-B is negative for pre-workout ingredients.
With this MAO-B inhibiting ability, Hordenine HCl may prevent stimulant tolerance by decreasing the effect of monoamine oxidase, thus Hordenine HCl can prevent the breakdown of many stimulants and make them more effective.

Benefits of taking hordenine hcl
Hordenine HCL is used as a stimulant, a stimulant tolerance inhibitor, and for weight loss. Hordenine HCL may assist with weight loss, in part, by encouraging the release of norepinephrine. Norepinephrine is an excitatory hormone and is lipolytic, which means it helps release fat from fat cells that are oxidized, therefore increasing energy and reducing overall fat on the body.  The key benefits of hordenine hcl are sumarrized as below:
1.Enhance energy as a stimulant.
Hordenine hcl, especially when taken with caffeine, has a stimulant effect, helping to provide energy. This could keep you awake longer and aid in concentration in areas where becoming tired too early might be a problem.

2.Lose weight
The increased metabolism efficiency has been known to actually lower some people’s appetites, making weight loss considerably easier. When someone is just less hungry, weight loss is something that just happens as a matter of course.

3. Appetite Control
It can be a difficult feat to keep urges and cravings for various foods under control during a diet or training. The problem is for certain regimens to be successful, sticking as closely as possible to a particular diet can be critical. Having a supplement like Hordenine to help take the edge off of appetite surges can make it much easier to stick to your regimen.

Dosage of Hordenine HCL
Start with 25mg daiy and adjust dosage up or down depending on results. It is common to mix Hordenine with caffeine such as in coffee. This helps extend the effect.

Side Effects of Hordenine hcl
Some possible side effects of hordenine that have been reported are nausea, insomnia, dizziness, anxiety, upset stomach, mood swings, and rapid heart rate.
